There is no such thing mate afaik.. if you haven't got a good one in a while chances r you will get it sooner.  This is why I hat the draft system.. it replaced the 3k gems which is similarly luck based but not sure why EA decided to remove shards.

Shards gave us guarantee of a card of our choice, so worth the grind
