So we can’t rank up the pioneer players that were brought over from the previous season? How does that make sense?

Hello to all,
I have 2xGrealish and 2xZanetti and I still can't make a rank/training increase.🙄If it's because they are pioneer players, then EA would have better given us 100 million coins instead of 88/89 OVR pioneer players who can't be trained😤🤷🏻♂️
That is definitely a flaw in the logic on EA’s part. I understand the idea of needing multiple copies - but I agree with Konterman - give us x # of coins per pioneer player rather than the player we can’t rank up that we already trained up to 5th level an wasted the xp.
