Re: Cheating algorithm in online modes

Well my last post was deleted for some reason, didn’t get a warning for violating the forums rules, so no idea why it was removed. 

What’s so frustrating for us players is that it’s so obvious to us who is cheating, yet EA doesn’t remove these players even tho they have access to more data and info then we do. We just want to see some action being taken. 

The cheaters have taken over every PvP game mode in this game. H2H, VsA and now the challenge mode PvP matches. I play the challenge mode matches to get gems. The vast majority of my matches are against cheaters. 80 to low 90 OVR teams with their player either not ranked and trained up to maybe 1 or 2 players ranked and trained to a low level. Yet these teams dominate my almost 5 ranked and fully trained players. These teams also when you check their profiles don’t play any Division Rivals matches and if they do they are in Pro 1 on both game modes. I have plenty of videos that show this. I in-game report every player I expect of cheating yet nothing ever seems to happen to them. 

EA keeps telling us that talking about cheating is pointless on these forums but we won’t stop letting you know have big of a problem this is till you finally do something about it. At least more than what you are doing now. The cheaters are ruining this game, a game that is struggling to hold our interest due to boring events. 

Though some of the things being discussed on here sound like it’s just due to lag and latency issues. Like your players running away from the ball passed to them or the ball seeming to just go right through your players feet. These are both issues due to a poor connection to the server or because your opponent has a poor connection to the servers. I was having those same problems last year till I had my provider come out and check my setup and found that my fiber optic cable was not installed correctly and it was causing connection issues and other issues. Had them replace the wire and no longer had any problems like the ones discussed.

    @HippoRyder3454 yep - cheating is ruining the game ☹️

    (and unless you mentioned a particular player/league cheating your post shouldn't have been deleted ... but sometimes the mods do get a little over zealous)

    In the head-to-head mode, EA overdid the algorithm. We play matches based on a lot of scenarios. Many people are now quitting the game because of this unrealistic situation. EA is killing itself. by EA.

    @mertalbay  No need to be a *. @mendozzamagic  Does a lot for the forums and is the only one of hear that gives us answers to or questions and problems. he’s the only one that gets feedback from the devs. 

    A lot of what you guys are talking about isn’t due to the “algorithm”. Like he has said MM is broken and isn’t working properly. Like I have tried to explain that your connection plays a huge part in how the game plays for you. Most of the problems you guys are complaining about I had last season and then I got my WiFi fixed and those problems disappeared. 

    My point is don’t attack the one guy on here that’s on our side and is just passing a long the info that’s he’s got from being in communication with the devs. 

    You want to be angry be angry at the higher up in EA, which are the ones that make all the decisions on the quality of the game.

    @mertalbay  What does that even mean? I win against higher, even and lower OVRs, just as much as I lose to them.
