Re: Fair Play? Then Explain These...

Just played a Division Rivals Vs Attack match that was totally rigged against me. When you play enough games you can just feel when the algorithm suddenly shifts against you. Your players take uncharacteristically poor touches. They get more sluggish and suddenly moves and plays that worked in the last match (against a similarly ranked opponent) just won’t work. It’s infuriating because it has nothing to do with the inputs you make (I.e., your play) and everything to do with some arbitrary “ghost in the machine” left there by the coders.

yeah the “ghost in the machine” is definitely real. It’s like your players just quit trying. You spend the whole match trying keep up and make up for the senseless turnovers. Every skill move just gives the ball away to your opponent.

And you’re also right about the EA team sitting back and laughing. That’s why we should start putting our complaints in the app reviews instead, and at least hurt their rating. I hate to be a complainer, but there has to be some way to make them listen.

I’ve posted at least two negative (one-star) reviews in the Apple App Store. I’d encourage anyone in here reading this and agreeing to do the same.

Made it to Champion level in Vs Attack and it’s now quite clear that the way EA simulates facing tougher competition is to “dumb down” your players. One would hope and expect that the competition would merely get quicker/smarter/more skilled, but instead they’ve clearly chosen to make your players slower/clumsier/more error prone. It’s really pretty miserable to try and battle through because you can’t take for granted that a player will cleanly receive and turn with a ball that they were fielding cleanly only yesterday. And it doesn’t seem to matter whether a defender is close either. That’s the part that is so dramatically unrealistic and stupid.

So, all this just reinforces our belief that other game modes (like H2H) are in some sense “rigged” to make your players perform worse (independent of, and despite, anything the user does). It’s a pretty lazy way to to design a video game, but there you—that’s EA for you.😒

Especially when you face a 102-107 rated teams with purple ranks! This is so disgusting from these greedy ge, they dont take seriously our complaints
