Scammed by EA Suport

Hi all. Last week my acount was hacked by a men. I enter ea and I recover all back. Today he said to me if I don't give him money he will delete my acount. I entered support live chat. There I ask nice the support guy to logoff Al the devices are connected to my fc mobile acount. They say to me to reset the password and remove 2 fa and I will be fine he cannot enter the acount. I invest over 2000 euros and my time this years here are the screenshots with the support

CM edit: removed screenshots as it contained personal information

  • Hey Matteogoat89

Is your EA account fully hacked? I mean, does the hacker have your login details?

The most important question is: do they also have access to your email? Because if they do, that’s the worst-case scenario.

    I recommend the following:

    • Changing your EA account password.
    • Changing your email.
    • Checking and removing any trusted devices.
    • Making sure 2FA is enabled on your EA account.

2fa is very important for security — unless the hacker already has access to your email, in which case they could bypass it.

Also, the part where support told you to remove 2FA might be a misunderstanding. Normally, 2FA is what protects your account from hackers.

    Go to https://myaccount.ea.com

    • Change your email address
    • Edit password
    • Remove trusted devices
    • Remove linked accounts

All these will require you to have access to your emails.

Please do contact the community manager EA_Pulsar before taking any further steps as I told you everything in my knowledge and I can't just guarantee that it works. The fact you have payment receipts is clear proof you are the true owner.

Wishing you all the best 👍

First of all and with all due respect - are you crazy to spend 2k euros on a game account bro unless you are a youtuber or something?

I hope EA helps you get back your account but what DeadlyKnights suggested seems the right order to do things but I would not unlink account unless it's compromised.

Matteogoat89 As 11DK said, it's about securing the email you used for the EA account first. Once you do that, you can temporarily remove your 2FA and reapply it in both email and the game (not at the same time). This typically should make your current/old 2FA token useless, making it harder to have it hacked again.

Plz note I haven't made any unnecessary comments.. it just doesn't make sense to spend that kind of money.. crazy is not a banned word.. I haven't disrespected anyone.  If someone felt that way, sorry abt that.
