Hey Matteogoat89
Is your EA account fully hacked? I mean, does the hacker have your login details?
The most important question is: do they also have access to your email? Because if they do, that’s the worst-case scenario.
I recommend the following:
- Changing your EA account password.
- Changing your email.
- Checking and removing any trusted devices.
- Making sure 2FA is enabled on your EA account.
2fa is very important for security — unless the hacker already has access to your email, in which case they could bypass it.
Also, the part where support told you to remove 2FA might be a misunderstanding. Normally, 2FA is what protects your account from hackers.
Go to https://myaccount.ea.com
- Change your email address
- Edit password
- Remove trusted devices
- Remove linked accounts
All these will require you to have access to your emails.
Please do contact the community manager EA_Pulsar before taking any further steps as I told you everything in my knowledge and I can't just guarantee that it works. The fact you have payment receipts is clear proof you are the true owner.
Wishing you all the best 👍
