Some new Icons and Heroes we would like to see

There are some good candidates (Villa, Batistuta, Higuain, D Silva, D Zoff, Terry), but there are equally seriously, questionable names on this list.

Bojan? What exactly has he achieved in football to be considered a hero or icon? He wasted his potential after leaving Barca and only played one match for Spain. He’s nowhere near someone like David Villa, who earned 98 caps and scored 59 goals.

Walcott? Maybe significant for Arsenal fans, but he hasn't done anything that warrants hero status either. There are far better Arsenal or English players not on your list.

Pato? After an impressive start at AC Milan, he faded quickly and barely scored ten goals for Brazil. You really want to put him next to the likes of R9 or Pele? Come on, get a grip. Even Adriano is light years ahead (sadly passing of his dad effectively prematurely ended his career)

Platini was removed due to legal issues (and reputation). Don’t expect Dani Alves, Robinho, or Adriano for the same reasons.

Deco, Effenberg, and Inzaghi have also been removed (along with Pep, Giggs and a few others, including Maradona who made a comeback).

Robben and Aguero were expected to be Icons at one point but seem to have disappeared, possibly due to licensing or trademark issues again.
