They really should remove the card and team values off the AI and just refer to them as beginner, amatory, semi-pro, pro, world class etc.
Stats matter for you, just not for the AI pve
@mendozzamagic he also refers to stats of his own players. You have conveniently ignored those

@jobjjobjYes... I have vini jr tots nominee version ranked up to 100 ovr with 120+ pace and dribbling yet he moves around with the ball like a noob. Off the ball, his positioning is the worst in my team. Vini would be ashamed too if he sometimes sees this.
- mendozzamagic1 year agoHero+@jobjjobj No - they have referred to the AI over running them in PvE - that is a result of the pve not really having any relevance to the card values because they are boosted or reduced based in difficulty.
If they are experiencing slow gameplay in PvP then that can be from a range of factors, which can include that (according to those who play at a far higher level than me) some cards are just 💩 in h2h and don’t perform to their indicated potential.
The general premise that stats don’t matter though is incorrect - they do matter - a great deal, it’s just sometimes at the margins they are not as powerful as players expect them to be- jobjjobj1 year agoNew Veteran
Nope.. stats seem to get dumbed down in PvE modes

@jobjjobj Sigh - your stats are not changing - the stats of the opposition are being boosted - that’s what the difficulty level does.
I mean, if you want to be pedantic about it, the relative skill of your players is reduced because the skill of your opposition is higher, but the argument that player stats are needed is like saying that when Australia plays Germany in the World Cup, the stats of the Australian players are changed compared to when they played China in the qualifiers 🤷♀️
