Suggestion: Full Reset for FC Mobile 2026 🔄

Hello EA FC Mobile Team,

I would like to suggest bringing back a full reset for FC Mobile during the next season update in September/October 2026.

A full reset would make the game feel fresh and exciting again for many players. Right now, overall ratings and progression have become extremely high (inflated over time), and a reset could help restore balance, competition, and motivation for everyone.

It would also give new players a fair chance to compete and make the new season feel like a true new beginning.

I believe a full reset could improve the long-term health and excitement of FC Mobile if it is done correctly with good rewards or compensation for loyal players.

Thank you for your hard work and for continuing to improve the game.

Best regards,

  • That resets were discarded for now, based on official communications to date, and if you look at other versions of FCM in Asia, resets have not been done for a while, either with OVRs much higher than the global version.

Personally, I don't think resets would improve much if they come back, especially when you have very few tradeable cards obtainable. The grind can only get you so far. Prefer playing with my favourite icons, knowing I can't get to the top in VSA/MM, rather than going and starting from scratch in an ecosystem designed for P2W, not F2P.  There is a lot that can be done to improve the game and experience, but it will depend on whether some of the good and constructive feedback from here and other socials will be taken on board.

Sure seems like most everything EA does these days can be explained by the question:  Does it keep the “whales” happy? A reset temporarily re-levels the playing field for everyone and wipes out most of the advantages that have accrued to the big spenders. Similarly, the draft system (and now the signings/shards) provides the whales with a pathway (albeit an incredibly expensive one!) to obtain rewards (120 OVR cards) and badges (e.g., level 5 with the +1 OVR bonus) that are unattainable for most users. Thus, EA has created what is, in effect, a tier of FCM “luxury” items that allow the biggest spenders to build squads that are so far superior to the rest of ours that we might as well be playing a different game. It didn’t used to be this way! And I’ll wager that we won’t ever see a return to the old, more egalitarian system. Just like FIFA is gouging fans over World Cup tickets and creating an environment where only the uber wealthy have access, EA is turning FCM into a community of haves and have nots. I, for one, have just about lost patience with it. I resent being treated like a second-class citizen (or a sucker) and I grow weary of EA’s cynicism.

  • yearly resets helped keep the game fresh.   This perpetual running game is just plain boring.  Dud events with nothing to do... 5 to 10 mins a day and done.    Bring  back grind for rewards.
