Suggestion: Full Team Reset at the Start of Every Season
Dear FC Mobile Team,
Over the past seasons, I have repeatedly noticed that an essential element is missing to keep the gameplay exciting and motivating in the long run: a complete reset of teams at the start of every new season. In my opinion, it would be a huge benefit for the overall dynamics and motivation of the entire community if all existing squads were reset each season.
Such a reset would create fair competition, since all players regardless of how strong or weak their squad was in the previous season would begin from the same starting point. Especially for new players, this would mean they could truly compete from day one without being stuck in a gap that feels impossible to close. The result would be a fairer, more exciting, and more beginner-friendly experience for everyone.
In addition, rebuilding a team from scratch brings its own unique excitement. Many players value exactly this process: collecting cards, developing strategies, and gradually putting together their dream team again. If this were to happen every season, it would spark a sense of fresh start and renewed motivation, keeping players engaged for the long term. Without a reset, however, the sense of purpose fades once a team is finished, leaving little incentive to keep investing time and energy.
From a game design perspective, a seasonal reset also provides a natural buffer that maintains the balance between progress and challenge. Each season becomes a self-contained chapter with its own milestones and achievements, making the games structure clearer and more rewarding for the community as a whole.
I am convinced that such a step would not only re-energize the existing player base, but also significantly lower the barrier for newcomers. This would create a seasonal structure where every player feels that their efforts truly matter, while generating excitement and anticipation year after year.
