I’m of the same vintage (first played EA games on Sega Genesis in the mid-90s) and I’m of the same opinion about the state of this franchise. I think it’s fair to say that EA has lost its way. The opportunity is always there to make this game really good and folks in here have made abundantly clear what that would entail, but EA has shown no serious interest in heeding our feedback.
