No way! The ranking system is already good enough. You're basically suggesting playing at least 50 matches with a unranked card for one rank up, which will take an enormous amount of time.
The game gives a lot of universal cards. I already have enough universal cards to instantly reach red or orange rank, replacing that with a procedure that can take hours to complete is unwise.
The old system was ok. Use the players that you dont want for training. Afther a number of training points the player would auto rank. Easy. The mascherano system force you to not be able to use other players . For example i got gerard but i can not use it because i dont have 20 mascherano to rank him as before you would just use the ranked player to train your new player. What do you do with rank players that you don't use? nothing. Plus the fact that ranking a player boost the player attributes too much. Before this system if a ranked player ovr was 109 and you would get a 109 player the attributes were similar.
Then you're doing something wrong...This is my squad, you see how everyone is max ranked, all of them are untradeable...What if I tell you that I still have 40 maschs + 10 scouting tickets which is an extra 20 maschs...it's just about how you manage and being consistent with your squad.
Yes mate, you all are professional. Not everybody can afford to put real money into the game. You cant have this team and still have this amount of mascherano. The point was to be able to have more options when you build your team and be able to use or try more players. In this system if you get a player you cant put into the team.
I definitely preferred the old system. This new system you can't just slot in your new additions to your team if you don't have the amount of Mascherano's to rank them up! But, at least they fixed the atrocious start they had after the new game from the old system. Everything was sold out and people had to resort to making Silver teams lol
