Tackles.

I think im missing something in game play. When i make a pass the opposing team player is 99% making the interception of the ball mid pass before my player reacts or they are constanlty in the perfect position to block the pass also my team are constantly manned/ one up but always behind the player. But my players never do the same thing to the opposite teams. The ball will go straight passed them, their legs seems shorter to block or they will jump over the ball and will never lead in a run unless im in using throughball pass, otherwise they wait for the ball to come to them and they will stop turn and get smashed by a tackle.
Any advice would be appreciated.
