I remember i played fifa 09-15. It was real football simulator. Right now its just spinning, spinning, spinning simulator. In OG FIFA you could win matches by different styles. Its shameless what you did with this game. I would rather play fifa 14 and feel real football gameplay
now only buy styl win brother..I just played a match where I completely outplayed my opponent—he didn't even touch the ball; he played so poorly he dribbled the ball out of play 4 or 5 times—he just couldn't control the game at all. The guy had 5 rare cards and I had 3; guess who got 2 rebounds off the keeper's hands... and a free header goal? My defender just stood there watching and failed to block the pass 😅... The game is a joke; nothing relies on actual skill or game sense. It just hands out goals for free—dropping the ball right onto their heads or at their feet after the keeper spills it—it's totally random. This isn't a football game, it's a fantasy simulator... pay to win.
Agree, just as a simple example.. why play styles are needed when player traits had similar cards.. I mean a player might have long passer trait but can't pass accurately coz he doesn't have bullet passing style, lol 😂
I’m old enough to remember the good old days you reference and couldn’t agree more, lol! “If it’s in the game, it’s in the game” used to mean something, but those days are long gone. EA sold us, and the sport we love, out to blind greed. And now that Saudi private equity officially owns the company it’s likely only going to get worse. They’ll monetize still more of the game and kill what little fun remains in the process.
