The issue that you described, I have only seen the new players posting it. I'd actually would suggest that you finish the kick-off and see if it appears in two days. Have you purchased any packs from the store (e.g. the 3k gems one).
Yes, I bought these packs and many more packs with real money... But I don't get any rewards for that...
