the worst gameplay update

I genuinely don’t understand what happened with this update. The new content is one thing, but the gameplay changes have made the game frustrating to play. Stamina drain feels completely out of control, players seem exhausted far earlier than they should be, and the overall responsiveness feels inconsistent. Passing, first touches, player positioning and defensive reactions all feel noticeably worse. There are moments where you make the correct input and the game simply decides to do something completely different. It’s incredibly frustrating when you lose a match not because of your decisions, but because your players suddenly feel like they have 20 stamina and zero awareness.

And then there are the connection and disconnection issues. Getting kicked out of matches, configuration errors, random lag and other connection-related problems are absolutely unacceptable in a game where a single disconnect can completely ruin a match. What makes it worse is that these issues seem to be happening alongside major gameplay changes, so it’s difficult to even tell whether something is an intentional mechanic or just another bug.

I appreciate that EA is trying to bring new content and make FC Mobile feel different, but changing so many gameplay systems while the game is also suffering from bugs and connection problems is a recipe for frustration. New modes and content are great, but none of that matters if the actual match experience feels this inconsistent.

Please take the player feedback seriously and look into the stamina drain, responsiveness, passing, first touches, defensive AI and disconnection issues. We don't expect the game to be perfect, but for fs sake, the basic gameplay needs to feel reliable before anything else. Right now, it feels like we're beta-testing the update for EA.

100%. I said earlier its like trying to control a bunch of kids drunk on hooch, you have so little idea what's going to happen. Its like you're trying to anticipate what your own players might randomly do, more than you try to anticipate the opponent.

It's astonishing how much the gameplay worsened overnight. To me there's 3 main issues that have to be addressed before it feels normal again.

    1. Input delay dramatically increased. This in itself is why it feels so slow and off.
    2. Passing accuracy dramatically decreased. Passes either don't arrive to target or lead player directly towards opponent
    3. Player positioning and movement. Defenders randomly run the wrong direction. Offense hides behind defenders or starts a run and then stops when you pass to them.
  • Yeah, it’s terrible. Wish they would just revert back to the prior version. The fatigue issue is a complete joke, and the regression on basic playability is really, really discouraging. It’s glaringly obvious that player IQ (i.e., off-ball movement) is significantly worse — both attacking and defending. I don’t know what’s causing it (seems like it probably has to do with the introduction of “game plans”), but my players’ positioning is objectively horrible. I use a neutral game plan and yet HUGE gaps open up between my lines that make it difficult to build up properly and which leave me very vulnerable to counter attacks. This just makes no sense and I think it’s safe to say “game plans” simply aren’t ready for prime time. That passing also seems to have taken a big hit (it is significantly less accurate than before the update), really argues for EA to hit the “pause” button on this disaster and revert back to the pre-game plans build until they can work out the kinks.

That would be great, but I don't think there's any chance they revert back to the old version.
