With all due respect, the voucher system is still broken. The odds and exchanges are still crap and offering us this so-called “special offer” is like slapping lipstick on a pig.

If the tag system actually got me close to claiming one of the TOTS meta cards I wanted I would be FAR more likely to consider one of these special offers to put me over the top. But, given how dysfunctional the tag system is, how bad the draft odds are, and how poor the exchanges are, I would be a fool to start spending my hard-earned money chasing a meta card. Most F2Pers like me recognize this and we find this “special offer” equal parts bemusing and insulting. It sends the message that EA think we’re chumps and adds fuel to our suspicion that the tag system is intentionally busted.

Please share this with the team and tell them their value proposition needs serious work. I’ve been an EA user since it put out its first titles more than 30 years ago (yes, I’m OLD!). I’ve bought loads of titles in that time, but I’m deeply disappointed at what they’re doing with FCM. Respect users and respect the game and stop trying to leverage our love of football to pry open our wallets. Give us quality and excellence and we’ll gladly pay for it. But if you keep trying to coerce and manipulate us then you deserve every bit of the unrelenting criticism you’ve been receiving.
