Unpredictable player stride length impacting defenndability

EA_Pulsar why do I feel like the defenders are deliberately taking smaller strides as if they are climbing a 45degree slope?

Meanwhile I dont see opponent defenders run like this most of the time

Thanks for the feedback. Have you tried switching to a different squad or formation to see if that makes any difference?
