I played whole event! And guess whattt? Got like notghing from 120s players! U have 60+ of 120+ players! Give at least 1 or 2! You bunch of useless nothing! Absolutely the worst game I have ever played! The only game you spent time and got nothing in return!

I share your frustration. The game feels really, really unrewarding right now. EA have created these elite cards (nerfing the rest) and then set them in a jeweler’s display behind lock and key. No longer can we realistically win any of them. You have to be willing to spend $100s to obtain them. What’s the point of playing the game unless you’re independently wealthy? There certainly isn’t any reason to grind events, especially when any moderately decent cards you win will be obsolete within a month. Case in point, my TOTS 124 Messi now regularly runs past balls or lets them run through his legs in VSA and league tournament mode. This wasn’t happening a week ago, but with the recent release of the 121 and 122 cards, he’s obviously taken a nerf and it’s killing my gameplay. I’m pissed off about it, but I’d be apoplectic if I’d spent $100 to claim him.
I think there are a lot of us who grow weary of the FCM “hamster wheel.” For one, it spins too fast, with most meta cards becoming obsolete in only 4-6 weeks. But the real kicker is that most of us (i.e., the vast majority of us who aren’t “whales”) can’t claim decent prizes anymore. None of us expects to have a Top 10 lineup, but we always used to be able to claim 1-2 meta cards per event and that is simply no longer the case. This kills our motivation to play on two fronts: (1) it makes us feel disrespected (like we’re second-class citizens); and (2) it materially affects the quality of our gameplay (as noted above with the Messi card) because the constant nerfing of older cards is anything but subtle.
I would really like to hear from EA as to why, besides naked greed, it has to be this way. At present, I’m only ever a day away from deciding to quit for good and it’s clear from comments in here that many others are in the same boat. Is this what EA wants???
