Ads not giving rewards

So there is a watch ad for the daily quest and event ads (0/3 under new goals in welcome to fc mobile). I am able to watch the ad, but when I exit it after watching, the reward is not given or the quest would not show as completed to claim. 

Playing on Android device

This definitely feels like a bug in the game. What can I do to fix this? Please help. Thanks.
