MY TOP TIER GK GIVES GREAT ASSISTS TO THE OPPONENTS

Dear EA, I recently purchased one of the top goalkeepers, with a Level 2 deflector and long throw.

In the last three games, whenever I pressed the button to the floor to pass with his hands, the goalkeeper was making a Karius-style mistake and assist the opposing forward.

After it happened three times, I started passing the ball not with the button but with a gesture, and again, my expensive goalkeeper set up the forward. Could he have suffered a concussion? Could the intense heat be getting to his head, or is there some hidden trick where you can give coins to the opposing goalkeeper so he’ll assists the opposing forwards? Please enlighten me.
