Resource Download Error 0x000003E8 on Vivo X300

Hello EA Support,

 

I am unable to access FC Mobile because I repeatedly receive “RESOURCE DOWNLOAD ERROR [0x000003E8]”.

 

Device: Vivo X300

OS: Android 16

FC Mobile Version: 28.0.01

Region: India

 

I have already tried Wi-Fi and mobile data, restarting the phone, clearing the game cache, and reinstalling the game. I also have 14.61 GB of free storage.

 

The same error appears every time the game tries to download resources. FC Mobile works normally on another phone, but it does not work on my Vivo X300.

 

Please check if this is an Android 16 / Vivo X300 compatibility or resource-download issue and provide a fix or workaround.

 

I have attached a screenshot of the error.

    Hello EA Support,

    I have already completed all the recommended troubleshooting steps, including restarting the device, clearing the cache, trying Wi-Fi and mobile data, checking storage, and reinstalling the game.

    I am still getting Resource Download Error [0x000003E8].

    Device: Vivo X300
    Android 16
    FC Mobile Version: 28.0.01
    Region: India

    Please investigate this issue further.

    - Restarting the device

    - Clearing FC Mobile cache

    - Trying Wi-Fi and mobile data

    - Checking available storage

    - Reinstalling the game

     

    However, I am still receiving:

     

    RESOURCE DOWNLOAD ERROR [0x000003E8]

    Android Version: Android 16

    FC Mobile Version: 28.0.01

    Region: India

     

    The same issue also appears to be affecting other Android users, including users on mobile data.

     

    Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue with the latest FC Mobile version/Android 16 or a server-side resource download problem?
