Tournament legendary issue!!!

Again we go back to the same old stuff: I am playing Champions league tournament on legendary issue. And if I try REAAAALY hard I can skip mention the insane gameplay of the opponent, way beyond their actual stats. What I DOOO have issue with is that my player's gameplay is  ridiculous, my players mostly make questionable passes, dribbling is useless in every situation, defenders are insanely aggressive. Anyhow, it is impossible to win it. And I know this won't be dealt with. I just know there are a lot of players that have issue with the difficulty affecting their gameplay, which is... there is no word for it.
