This issue is common amongst players of the PC version of FIFA 23. I have read complaints from friends that their game crashes when they play in Career mode, which is very annoying, and they are playing on a high-end system too. Sorry about this OP, but there is nothing that can be done.
Your post is spot on, and thank you for sharing it. I’ve been thinking about why EA is able to act this way, and why players — especially paying customers — seem to accept it. Is it really possible to sell games and software in any condition, without any obligation to fix the issues?
In my EA library, I still have the old FIFA 15, which, on the other hand, no longer runs at all on Windows 11 24H2. I’m not here to complain, but I’m genuinely concerned about the state EA has left its games in — and it’s deeply unsettling that this seems to be acceptable.

It ought to be unacceptable, it is their obligation, theirs alone, to fix lingering issues like this before making the games available for players. Only them know why they do not do so.
