Ban Appeal Denied
I write this post to any future MUT gamers that get wrongfully banned for "coin distribution" in the near future. First, understand my circumstances that I was very dedicated to my MUT team, and earned all my coins through rewards or selling cards. Never once did I receive coins from a third party, use an alternate account, or give away my coins in anyway. I had to grind through the game and built my team the right way. However, during a promotional event called "Team Diamonds" I was banned for coin distribution with no explanation.
In my appeal I stated I was wrongfully banned and monitored "My Case" through my EA account and noticed something peculiar. The person handling "My Case" would continue to update the progress but would be doing it 4 hours in the future. Meaning, if it was noon, your case would read, "last updated at 4:05 pm." It reminds me of a fast-food drive-thru, when the employee tells you to park to the side. Because the employee acknowledged your existence, it doesn't go against them. And that's essentially what the Terms of Service Department is doing with these cases.
After a few days passed, I received my verdict. The cookie cutter email stated
| Hello, Thanks for contacting us about your account action. We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures. What this means We have confirmed that your account was involved in Coin Distribution on Madden. Coin Distribution is against our rules. Because of this, we will not be removing the actions taken on your Madden account. You break the rules if you: • engage in Coin distribution • buy Coins • sell Coins • use auto-buyers or other unofficial clients • farm Coins • make false claims • use someone else’s account • use multiple accounts to boost your performance in-game • use bots in or abuse the Auction House • cheat in-game • promote, encourage, or take part in any prohibited activity described in section 6 of our User Agreement. As you can plainly see, there's no explanation where the coins were distributed too, when, how, just accusations that I broke the rules. Furthermore, my account has lost the feature to file a second appeal. Its disappointing because I really enjoyed MUT and really did all the right things. I never cheated, didn't do any of the glitches, and just used MUT as an escape from my real life. And it was coldly, unemotionally, corruptly taken away from me. I feel cheated by a system. I feel robbed of my money (MUT was the reason I bought the game). Again, this post was not for Answers HQ. The only people that we have the ability to contact about our issues, don't actually have any power to do anything, Its quite amazing really. No, this post was something very rare for the Madden community. It was a post for you! I wish all of you the best of luck in your appeals and hope you never have to go through what I went through.
