Equipment problem
I can’t even equip my newly draft picks with gloves, or sleeves or anything

I wasn't able to either if they were edited at all.
In order to change the equipment I needed to make sure it was still the same base model that was auto generated.
Then change appearance after they were drafted. Then it let me change the equipment 1 time for each.
Check what I posted and see if you came across the same bugs
This just happened to me in year 2 of my franchise and now I can't equip anything on my players.
