0xc0000142 Error

Question

I have a MacBook Pro running an M1 max chip with 64bg ram. I am running Windows 11 on Steam. I purchased Madden 24 on Steam, downloaded the game and the EA App. The game downloaded without issue but when I go to Play the game I get the EA error code 0xc0000142 everytime and the game fails to launch.

I have tried a lot of different things including restarts, reinstalling the game and steam, running the EA App as the administrator, refreshing the certificates on the EAAntiCheat game files, removing and reinstalling the EAAntiCheat.Installer, and a few other things to no avail.

Has anyone experienced this issue that has come to a resolution that allowed them to play the game?

Try downloading and installing both the x86 and x64 components of the Visual Studio 2015 - 22 package via the following link:&nbsp;

@EA_Barrythank you for the recommendation. Unfortunately that did not fix the problem. The same issues continue to persist without any appreciable difference. One detail I left out from before was that when I go to launch the game, a EA pop up comes up briefly (like the login box) but is just blank and then disappears.&nbsp;
