Can’t add my son as a friend in Madden 24
Looking to play Madden 24 what my son. Have been having hard time adding him as a friend.

I'm having this same issue. I have the game on Xbox Game pass for X/S and I also bought it for PC...but he can't add me nor can I add him

I can confirm we are on separate accounts. Although he's too young to have an EA account so he plays on his Xbox account and I play my purchased mine on Steam

To confirm you need to be linked to an EA account in order to player Madden 24, while your son may be underage or even have a child Xbox account. That would still be required for the game.
There is two possibilities that could be happening...
- Your Steam and your Sons Xbox account are on the Same EA account. You can check here, https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index If you see both then you would both be playing on the ame EA account.
- Your son has an underage EA account which comes with online restrictions.
If neither appear to be the case, can you verify you son has downloaded the current gen version of Madden 24 (it will have an X|S symbol on the game art on the Xbox home screen or Xbox library)

when I go to that link and sign into my EA account, I do not see his name on there. just mine in any of the linked accounts. I never did make him an EA account because it wouldn't let me. so that's why I thought to have him play on his Xbox account. I can definitely confirm that he's playing the X/S version.
