Game not using GPU

Madden 24 has a constant GPU usage of 0%.  I've tested this with PGA Tour also and that does the same.  Games played through Steam are fine, so it seems to be an EA thing.

Before you ask, my monitors are plugged in to the GPU, my CPU (Ryzen 9 5900x) does not have integrated graphics and nVidia control panel is set up for OpenGL to use my GPU.

EA, sort this out.

    Turn On Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling

Some reports are claiming that enabling the Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling feature on the Windows machine might help the FIFA 23 game to run properly by boosting the game performance and reducing online latency. To do so, you can follow the steps below:

    • Press the Win+I keys to open Windows Settings.
    • Click on System > Go to Display.
    • Go to Graphics > Click on Change default graphic settings.
    • Now, make sure to Enable the Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling feature.
    • Once done, make sure to reboot the PC to apply changes.

@ProdigiousDemon While this does help a little, it's still not smooth enough and worse, the CPU usage is WAY up and heats up and ruins our computers - we need a real fix by EA by optimizing the game.

Also, for some reason the sound stopped working from the game as well
