internet speeds capped on madden? please help

My internet speeds for madden are only giving 4kbs and looks to be pretty much capped there besides random spikes. I have 300mbs internet. my google chrome is using like 100mbs when required. but how much internet will madden grab ? i feel like it should be wanting more than 4kbs ( if this makes sense ) and i believe this could be a solution to my lagging problems. any help? 

by the way i have called my internet provider, fixed a connection issue with them already. its not a internet issue but i need madden to get more internet! anyone have a solution

    Hi @CORSEYonKick We don't have public information on the exact amount, while a few kilobits does seem low, the exact amount might change moment to momoent. 

    I would recommend trying the following:

    Hi @BaRaCk0DRaMaa 

    Once you have a moment can you try the following?

    • Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
    • Check for updates 
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Persistent Storage 
      • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
      • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
    • Alternate Mac: 
      • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
      • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
      • Select restart

    like im watching my speeds and im pulling more internet in the menu than i am on the actual field. why is that? on the field it stays capped at 4kb. in menu im getting mbp

    @CORSEYonKick I have the same problem. If I play offline I have fps drops sometimes but its playable, but online is awful. My CPU and GPU dont pass 50% and my ethernet stays under 8kpbs, so I think the problem might be there.

    • Are you getting an error message?
    • Which modes does this happen in?
    • Does this happen when loading into a specific more or performing an action in a mode?
    • Does this happen to any other account on the device?
    • How long are you playing until this happens?
    • Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive?
    • What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot)
    • Is anything else happening?
    • Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID

    We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.

    @ertzi3 yes bro!!! same issue. madden is capping our internet im i literally tried everything. checked my cpu usage my gpu usage. i did notice the cpu runs hard asf on this game but i dont think thats my problem because mine aswell goes maybe to 70% but i really dont think thats my problem. im sure we both have the same issue, i should not be pulling KBS speeds and its stuck at 4kbs. my chrome uses my download speeds just fine

    Which modes does this happen in? online game modes
    Does this happen when loading into a specific more or performing an action in a mode? lagging at major points in game i.e animations
    Does this happen to any other account on the device?
    How long are you playing until this happens? immediately
    Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive? internal storage
    What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot) wired
    Is anything else happening?

    I have same issues he is having. With Madden24 only. Horrible lag to the point I can’t play an online game. 

    • Platform: Xbox Series X
    • PSN ID/Gamertag: BaRaCk 0 DRaMaa
    • Are you getting an error message? Your internet is experiencing issues/connectivity 
    • Which modes does this happen in? Anything online in M24( H2H or CFM) 
    • Does this happen when loading into a specific more or performing an action in a mode? While playing a game online 
    • Does this happen to any other account on the device? Yes. Every gamer tag 
    • How long are you playing until this happens? Maybe 1 minute into game if I am lucky 
    • Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive? Internal 
    • What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot) wired but happens on Wi-Fi also 
    • Is anything else happening? No. Only issue is the lag 
    • Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: new modem, router, ran networking to be able to hardwire, changed DNS servers, contact ISP and nothing bad on their end 
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID

    to be honest i did notice the speeds trying to spike up but they still were steady at 4kbps. you are not answering my question. madden should be trying to pull use my megabyte speeds correct? because it is still only pulling a fraction of 1 megabyte in kbps. 

    also wasnt sure if it was a internet issue because the game is heavy cpu usage until others confirmed same issue. i have a ryzen 7 5800 i never had this problem with any other game. the cpu load is heavy is there a way to help this?
