Madden 24 does not load on PC

Game goes to the splash screen, the bar fills and the screen eventually goes away, and the game does not appear or load up and remains stagnant in task manager (stuck on 0% CPU and 31.5 MB of RAM eve...

    how are we to know before buying a game for our 10 year old kid on a new laptop? Santa brought it for Christmas and it doesn't work. And of course there is no contact number to call to ask for money back.

      Santa should be checking compatibility before purchasing any PC game. 

      I see people with incompatible devices all the time, particularly Microsoft Surface devices (expensive, people assume the high price means its "a gaming PC").

        Many people are new to game systems. If it says a game is a PC version, many people will not know that it won't work on 'all new PC's'. That is unfair to assume. I looked and checked it is ok with switch, x-box, playstation or PC. If it says PC then I expect to work on a PC. It it stated across the from that it was compatible on 'some' PC game I would have known to check. That is unfair. It is obvious if it says compatible with playstation '5' 

        So yeah, way to throw Santa under the bus.
