Madden 24 EA App stuck on "Preparing"
I can't pre-download madden 24 in EA App, it tells me there is an error and to try again in a few minutes but it still doesn't work

@xAlbinoSilver dont know the person that was helping didnt seem to know of preorder rewards or something cause after that they sent said report is somewhere else so rather just wait and see and keep it showing i purchased in july rather than now because that would probably be a whole other issue they need to have number to call or something i remember before they use to .

Add me to the list of people stuck at preparing, tried multiple suggestions found online with no success.
@JdKerr @Uriel13GV @68qnba1qvpkb @DQzz- Check ea orders through the EA account website the only thing I found is my preorder says its processing so I checked my email had one from like a week ago they need new payment method so change it now just waiting for a charge so I can download so I guess see if you guys have same thing since EA hasn't helped. See if they recharge it an problem goes away.
@GHO5T13 I had the email as well. When I click edit payment info it just spins and won't load

I got it check email and update payment method mine is downloading got email that i was being billed ten min ago reopened ea app and started download no problem .
i bought the game at gamestop and didn’t pre order it online. But i did buy ea play just for the 10 hour trial until thursday so i could play for 2 days prior to release. But it still said the same thing for me this morning. Should i check my email also? Even tho i didn’t get it on ea.
@GHO5T13 So once you changed it, it took like 30 min to process?
@xAlbinoSilver Yeah but left a PayPal first time for hours nothing happen then change to the actual card and took about 30 min .
@GHO5T13 Ok. I got the card changed like 15 min ago, so hopefully this works! I took work off today for this lol
it charged i see the bank statement on my card but i’ll check again on the ea website.
i couldn’t find any email for it
@xAlbinoSilver Yeah I have trash internet live in a rural area so have 2hour download time probably still wont be able to play today .
well it says august 18th if that’s what you’re asking about release date but i still should be able to play regardless of where i pre ordered from. Considering it’s just a ea play trial. Because like i said i bought ea play last night around 5est and waited until 8est to try and download and it just got stuck on “preparing”.
yea i cleared cache multiple times and reinstalled the ea app. Still stuck on preparing. And yes since it’s just through ea play it isn’t necessarily “early access” but it’s just a 10 hour trial but i just want a head start in MUT before the game actually releases.

and i don’t think it matters about if it’s the regular game or deluxe or not. Since it’s an ea play subscription you get 10 hours to play starting whenever everyone else gets their early access. I’m not really sure how i’m gonna fix it but i guess it’s no big deal since i’ll be able to play the game on release no matter what it’s just frustrating that i paid 5$ for a early trial just for it to not work 😂
