I've tried again and again for the past 16 or so hours to try to download Madden 24, but it gets stuck on preparing every time before giving me an error. I tried every solution offered by the guides made by EA, but none of them worked. I wanted to get in contact with EA, but couldn't figure out how. I didn't even purchase the game. This is simply for the 10-hour EA Play trial so I can see if I want to buy the game when it launches.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

- 3 years ago@CaptainSiDog They have disabled ALL LIVE CHAT OPTIONS regarding Madden 24. An absolute disaster of a launch and it seems as if the staff over there are just running and hiding. Only option currently is to email them.

What happens when the bug occurs? It just says error occurred try again
What do you expect to see? The game to download
I've been trying to DL the game since last night and every time I try to downlead the game, it just gets stuck on preparing then says error after a while.

I've been trying to download Madden 24 on my PC for a few hours now and it's stuck on "Preparing..." I've been trying to download it using the 10 hour trial via EA Play/Xbox Game Pass. Clearing the launcher cache, running the launcher as administrator and restarting my PC haven't worked, so I'm at a loss. Thanks

This happened to me too. I tried multiple solutions suggested by other people, but none of them worked. I was forced to pay for EA play in Steam, so I could download the game in Steam for the trial. However, once I downloaded it, I ended up in a whole other situation.

im with you , but even if we didnt purchase the game , we are still paying for a service that is not being provided . we were to get the 10 hrs trial 2 days ago and still stuck on preparing .

Wanted to follow up on those who are not able to download the game due to the game being stuck in a "preparing" state. If you are still having an issue with the download itself being in this stuck state, please provide the following info below.
Game Purchases

Under Order History, check and see if there are any canceled, pending, or processing transaction IDsEA Play Subscription
SpoilerIf you are trying to download the trial on PC, or console, Please make sure that you have an active EA Play subscription linked to the console/PC and that your EA account is properly linked to the correct console account.If you are having a separate issue with the game, I.E.
