Madden 24 EA App stuck on "Preparing"

@xAlbinoSilver Yeah I have trash internet live in a rural area  so have 2hour download time probably still wont be able to play today .

well it says august 18th if that’s what you’re asking about release date but i still should be able to play regardless of where i pre ordered from. Considering it’s just a ea play trial. Because like i said i bought ea play last night around 5est and waited until 8est to try and download and it just got stuck on “preparing”.

@DQzz- or pause and cancel try clearing the cache go through three hashes on the top left click app recovery or reinstall ea app but wouldn't the trial be for the regular game which releases later like to see if you like the game and not get early access. 

yea i cleared cache multiple times and reinstalled the ea app. Still stuck on preparing. And yes since it’s just through ea play it isn’t necessarily “early access” but it’s just a 10 hour trial but i just want a head start in MUT before the game actually releases. 

@GHO5T13 still nothing.... gettin nervous lol. Did you use credit or debit?

and i don’t think it matters about if it’s the regular game or deluxe or not. Since it’s an ea play subscription you get 10 hours to play starting whenever everyone else gets their early access. I’m not really sure how i’m gonna fix it but i guess it’s no big deal since i’ll be able to play the game on release no matter what it’s just frustrating that i paid 5$ for a early trial just for it to not work 😂

@DQzz- Yeah, it might be because it is not early access but still weird cause why would it let you try and download thought that would only be for people who preordered option higher than regular.

yea that’s exactly what i said like why give me the option to try it early if it isn’t gonna work and it isn’t meant to be there 😂. That’s why i think this doesn’t have anything to do with pre ordering. Because they don’t know i pre ordered the game obviously they just think i’m a ea play user trying the game out. And if i recall correctly madden 22 i was able to play on early release date with all other pre order players. I’m not really sure but it’s all good i’m gonna figure it out after school then i’ll let you know if i have any luck.

@xAlbinoSilver I used debit did you go through the actual order I did both change my primary payment method on the account and went on the exact order and add put payment method that matched account . 

this came up for me when i searched up when does the 10 hour free trial release. So idk
