Madden 24 error "unable to join the session..."

I get a unable to join the session because all players were not on the latest game version. Whenever I play one friend, we both are on PS5. Doesn't happen with any other friends or in online play

Can you both try the following and check if this continues?

Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)

Verify you signed into your PSN account

Check for updates

Restore Licence

Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides

Open your PS5 NAT Type

Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

We both tried what you said and it still leaves the same error. I think it's on his end, he is using it with a hotspot off his phone, but it only happens when he plays friends. He can play random online games just can't connect with friends.
