Madden 24 inability to launch game via Gamepass

Have EA Play on game pass ultimate but can't play any version of Madden 24 that is available. Says I'm not signed into the downloading account but only one account on the Xbox and its the same one I have used to play both Madden 24 and MLB 24 but Madden no longer works. I've tried signing out and in, resetting xbox, relaunching the game etc.

    Thanks again for being patient with us while we're looking into this. 

    I wanted to drop in and let you know that we are still working on getting this fixed, but there is a potential workaround that may help in the meantime: 

    When Madden NFL 24 is open on your console, try logging out of your Xbox account, then log back in. That may allow you to enter the game and play. 

    Please note that this will only work if you're playing with the game installed on your console, not if you are playing through Cloud Gaming. Also, you may need to repeat this each time you launch the game. 

    Again, we appreciate you bearing with us while we continue to work on fixing this issue. At the moment I'm afraid we don't have a time frame on when it might be fixed, but we will follow up here as soon as we have any updates.

    downloaded and loaded it up and it says "ea play trial" "thank you for trying out madden nfl 24. your signed in account requires on active ea play subscription. please purcahse ea play and try again." does not give an option to click away. screen is frozen there and i am quite upset.

    Exact same issue here. Game Pass Ultimate. Was playing until yesterday.

    I got my Xbox Series S for Christmas a few days ago. I installed Madden 24 with Game Pass Ultimate the same day. It was working well until yesterday, when a pop-up said, "This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress" and would not let me play. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, signed in and out of my Xbox account multiple times, and tried to stream the game via the cloud. Nothing helped. Other EA Play games like EA FC 24 and Jedi Survivor work.

    Im trying to play Madden 24 on Xbox Cloud Gaming through Xbox game pass ultimate, but when I open the game, it says “Ea Play Trial: This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress” I have tried unlinking and re-linking my xbox and EA accounts, signing out and signing back into my xbox account on cloud gaming, restarting my device, and restarting the game, yet nothing seems to work. Im on the account that I have played it for months on with the same subscription. This only started happening a day ago. I need a fix as soon as possible!

    Also having an issue. Knew once it was deemed a "trial" something would get messed up. Typical EA.

    Please fix this promptly as we pay for this game as part of the subscription.
