Madden 24 inability to launch game via Gamepass

Have EA Play on game pass ultimate but can't play any version of Madden 24 that is available. Says I'm not signed into the downloading account but only one account on the Xbox and its the same one I have used to play both Madden 24 and MLB 24 but Madden no longer works. I've tried signing out and in, resetting xbox, relaunching the game etc.

    Thanks again for being patient with us while we're looking into this. 

    I wanted to drop in and let you know that we are still working on getting this fixed, but there is a potential workaround that may help in the meantime: 

    When Madden NFL 24 is open on your console, try logging out of your Xbox account, then log back in. That may allow you to enter the game and play. 

    Please note that this will only work if you're playing with the game installed on your console, not if you are playing through Cloud Gaming. Also, you may need to repeat this each time you launch the game. 

    Again, we appreciate you bearing with us while we continue to work on fixing this issue. At the moment I'm afraid we don't have a time frame on when it might be fixed, but we will follow up here as soon as we have any updates.

    Hey again everyone, 

    If you were having problems playing Madden NFL 24 through Game Pass or via Cloud Gaming, can you check and see if you're still having any trouble when you have a chance? 

    Please let me know how it goes when you're able to give it another shot!

    No way!!!

    Confirmed working again on Xbox cloud (beta).

    My franchise is even still there! Awesome job, @EA_Kent!!! 

    Whatever you did, worked. Thank you thank thank you

    I just checked and it worked. I left my verification set to 'On' in my EA account.  I launched the game on xcloud as usual, and when prompted to verify I did so this time instead of completing the work around (pressing 'B' button twice to back out of verification and use offline mode).   After verifying I still got a message about the trial mode being temporary, but with an option to continue in the trial mode or to upgrade to full Madden 24.  I chose the latter (upgrade) and after a brief second of the dialog ghosting I was returned to the Madden main screen.  Checking my franchises I could see my online stuff.  Seems to work now (at least for this one try).

    Thank you for getting back to me, everyone! 

    Glad to hear it's working for you again. We are still looking into some other scenarios that might be causing errors when trying to start the game. We'll keep you updated when we have some news to share.
