Madden 24 mods keep giving me a “mods are f a different version”

Any idea what is happening? I play on PC through EA play. Every time I load mods into MMC it gives me this message

Unable to start on Xbox Game Pass/EA Play
It’s indicating that to access the trial I need to be signed in to my account to access the game when I’m already signed in on my Xbox Ultimate Account.
