Madden 24 PC controller not working (works with all other games)

Basically the title. Is there a way to fix this that I'm unaware of? The controller works with every game I own, including previous iterations of Madden, so it's definitely a M24 issue.

Having same issue. 

Hey look, ANOTHER issue that's not at all being solved by EA. Just another issue keeping us from playing, again. It's something every * week.

My controller just recently stopped working. It played fine all day Sunday sept. 24th but went to play some on Oct 1 and it’s just didn’t work. I have no idea what to do and I have almost 100 hrs into it.

    If you have madden on steam go to your controler properties for madden and enable steam input.

    Disabling steam input worked for me. Open steam > Right click Madden 24 > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input. 

    i don’t run the game through steam but this worked for me oddly enough..
