Madden 24 Progressive lighting during the game

Question

I noticed this on Madden 23 as well. During the game, regardless of the start times between (1:00, 4:15, 6:30) the starting game lighting remains throughout the entire game. The transition between time period is not working properly. I tested by simulation and observed that it worked properly for each quarter and time transition. The only way that I can make it change is to pause the game I'm in and close out the Madden session. I must return to the Xbox home screen and log back into the game as if I'm starting a new game. Once I've logged in to madden, it starts with the incorrect lighting then it transitions to the progressive lighting and timing from my previous session. This is very odd, It last worked correctly on the Madden 22 game. Could someone from the Madden game and design team please address this issue. It does take away from the experience of the game by not having the progressive game lighting transition as it did in previous games.

I agree with the frustration that this small but important factor is not working right. Realism for sports games is a huge factor of the enjoyment. As this was a factor that was introduced all the way back in Madden 2002, I am surprised that it gets introduced and then either gets removed or is buggy in new versions of the game. The fact that this is the new gen consoles that have a ton of resources and games like MLB the Show does it flawlessly, it makes no sense that the graphics team can overlook this. To be honest, there should be dynamic weather all together. Rain games shouldn’t be always have rain teh entire game and snow games should have intermittent snow and heavy precipitation at times as well. The sun shadowing in a day game, afernoon or evening game should be the easiest inclusion for realism and yet, this is missing. I hope the devs look at these forums and listen to the desires of paying customers, even on aspects like these that many fans may deem insignificant.&nbsp;

Hey I have a question, what happened to the residual lighting in madden? A 7 pm game looks the same at the end of the game. Madden 22 was the last madden to have residual lighting did you all take it out or is it being patched in
