Madden 24 Roster Edit Issue

Good Afternoon,

So everytime I make edits to the Madden 24 roster and play in offline versus mode, the edits I make don't save after I restart the game. I have to redo the edits each time and I'm overwriting the OFFICIAL roster when I save.  Is this a bug?
