madden 24 store freezes

Question

I am on PC and using a controller to try and buy points in the store but when I click on an option it will freeze and not let me out of the store. I have to close Madden every time to restart. I have also tried clicking the options on PC but still no luck. No payment methods or anything pops up when trying to buy points. It had been a few weeks and still not been fixed. I could be doing wrong but idk please help

I believe I found the problem, I bought Madden 24 on Steam and that might be why I can't see the repair option when I click manage.

In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair

I am having this issue right now in madden 25 and I followed the above steps and its still freezing. I did buy on steam, is that the issue?
