I am in the same spot. The game runs terrible! My setup far exceeds the recommended settings, but it is still failing to run this terribly optimized game. My GPU never breaks more than 1-5% during an online match, while my CPU hovers around 80-100% always. This is with me closing every other application as this game is running. How is there not a fix for this as of yet? Why is EA not addressing the issue here?
I do believe you can somewhat mitigate this problem and make it use the GPU a bit more than that. I have noticed mine doing that, and managed to increase its usage by doing all of this:
1) settings, system, display, graphics settings->find madden24.exe, set high performance
2) nvidia control panel, set openGL rendering to your GPU3) in game, ensure your native resolution is set, full screen, and limit FPS to your tech (I set mine to 60 with a 1080P monitor, but yours may differ - I'm guessing you can handle 120 FPS, or maybe even try the no limit option)
4) go through the other settings and set them accordingly
Hopefully this helps you a little. However I will say, even though it uses my GPU better and the usage is better, the problem largely consists of playing online with other people, when it lags like crazy. It will not fix all of the problems, as the problem is not entirely on the performance of the game but EA's crappy servers being terribly slow.Isn't it interesting how much they continue ignoring this and acting like it's not being posted at all? Acting like they DIDN'T just have an entire fan base spend $70 or more on the game? Acting like they don't have the money with how many whales keep busting out the wallet for some pixels? A literal money printer, and very swift to take action against people getting an edge with glitches and exploits like superstar mode, but do absolutely nothing about this. And refuse to comment here or on issues like this at all. Not even the absolute bare minimum on these issues. Seriously, they could at least pretend to care about being a good company, looking out for customers and/or returning some customer satisfaction/customer service.
yup and they come out with updates and never fix it or even address it that its an issue that needs to be fixed
