The relevant teams are aware and are currently investigating.
Some helpful posts in the meantime:
- On ur EA play app on pc go to the top left of the launcher to the 3 lines and put the game in offline mode. Once you do that launch the game like normal then once you in the main menu alt tab and go back to the EA play launcher on the 3 lines and put the game back online and connect to EA on madden 24 this should work.
- Went to my 'Origin Games' folder and deleted Madden24_trial, that got the game to actually start updating for me.
- I have found a solution, go into the Xbox application and try to launch the game from there, it will hop over to ea and the update window will pop up, click continue and proceed with the update, it should download like a gigs worth of data then update and become playable
- Dont know if this mattered, but I install MS Visual C++ 2022, rebooted, Madden 24 (PC) completed the new update and game launched like normal.
