Hi @EA_Barry ! Thank you for the quick response. At first I thought it was overheating but it’s already out in the open and I recently cleaned it yesterday before the latest shut off. I’ve also checked after every shut off and the console is cool to the touch. It’s very odd, the other day I was able to play all 4 available solo battles in a row with no issue, whereas yesterday I booted up and went directly into MUT Champs and it shut off midway through the 4th quarter. I reached out to Microsoft but they said my best bet was to reach out to EA since it’s only happening on one game.
Your console isn't overheating. Mines crashed a few times since the issue started while playing this game but can play way more in depth graphical games and not have a single problem and never crashed before I got madden 24 and my game started crashing. It's the game forcing your Xbox to shut down rather than just crashing the game. My xbox has a box fan pointed at it almost 24/7 to help with air flow around the xbox and keep it cool. It's been 60 degrees in my area this week and it'll still crash. Console is cold to touch. Everything is fine with the console. Easports really messed up with madden 24. Can't wait for 2knfl to finally get going.

Ditto to this. I can't wrap my head around why only Madden exhibits the behavior. All other games I own don't have any issues. I'm not gonna pay the $300 non-warranty fee to have my Xbox serviced for a software bug specific to one game..

I had this issue with MLB The Show the previous 2 years but this year it worked great for both versions . I'm always able to play the old gen version just these new Xbox series versions is where the code crashes and dash boards this is the first year of Madden crashing though so this is surprising. I hope the EA team is truly working on a fix for all our editions of the Xbox series x and s

Tried your suggestion and it still happens but it doesn’t happen consistently. I see that I’m not the only one running into this and it sounds like this problem has been going on for years, (since Madden 21 Next Gen first released from what I remember). I also see posts like this on Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/Madden/s/2sHdeEUqJA .
Is there any update on a fix/ determined the bug and is there any plans to take care of the players that are being impacted by this? It’s unfair to those of us that can’t complete certain objectives due to the game crashing/ shutting off our consoles.
Ive tried everything. I reset my settings tried clearing everything, uninstalled and reinstalled, fully logged out of my Xbox and re signed in. I even went and bought a hard copy of the game and it still is crashing every time I try to play a game. I don’t understand. Madden 24 is the only game that my console does this on.
No it’s a known issue that has been going on for years. I have chat logs of them admitting it but only after blaming my Xbox and everything under the Sun first. They refuse to fix it and just stick you with a lemon game. Honestly if you can get a refund do it and but again when it’s $30 cause the crashing won’t get fixed
