I recently bought madden 24 ps4 disc version from Amazon and on the cover of the game it says it will come with the ps5 edition aswell. Ea also mentions the ps4 disc version will come with the ps5 version but I cant seem to attain the ps5 version or upgrade to it
Not yet in conversation with EA again and they’ve asked me to report as a bug which I have. Will keep you posted

Yes I purchased it in the same region my account is set up with and fhe first file is the front of the game box and the second file is fhe back of the game box
I too am having this issue. My son has a ps4 in his room so we bought that version only to find out the ps5 version had the mode he was excited about and after hearing about the dual entitlement he excitedly downloaded it onto my ps5 and nothing. No option for an upgrade no question on which version i want to download. Only option i see is to rebuy it
I’m getting very annoyed with all parties involved here. I am still nowhere near further forward what’s really annoying is exact same digit copy shows dual entitlement from get go! It’s Exaclty same software!!! Punished for buying a disc

EA-Illium make yourself a hero here! You’re the first person on this forum that looks like could help. I thought might be a region thing too but doesn’t appear to be the case
If it helps the access to both versions on digital standard edition shows from the beginning it’s just the physical one that does not. Not sure if it’s set up incorrectly at sony or ea permissions side
