All players are missing back plates and flak jackets during gameplay.

This game has equipment glitches that EA still haven’t fixed yet this is unacceptable!
- @Lil-Santana4 It makes me not want to play the game at all! Takes all the visual authenticity out the game
- @Lil-Santana4 It’s so unprofessional
- @Lil-Santana4 EA fix this, it’s unacceptable, we play the game for those little details , really annoying
COMMUNITY KNOWN BUGS:
*Tested multiple times (re-compiled shaders, changed texture settings/mesh settings, clean install, updated GPU drivers, updated windows, etc., )
ALL BUGS BELOW AFFECT ALL PLAYERS, REGARDLESS IF THEY ARE AUTO-GENERATED ROOKIES OR NOT
1.) If you are playing a franchise by yourself (not tested in roster editor from main menu), and you go to edit any player's PHYSIQUE, the 'ARM SIZE' and 'ARM DEFINITION' sliders do not work at all.
2.) The rest of the body parts are changeable, however; The 'CHEST' and 'GUT' sliders, if moved at all, will completely change the entire model for the chest and gut, causing it to enlarge (presumably registering as a different weight or position body model). This enlargement is the most noticeable when comparing the shoulder sizes, as the wideness is irreversibly larger after any edit is made to those sliders at all, and they are unable to be changed back to the original size, even at the lowest setting. The only way to reverse this on a player is to discard the changes.
3.) The 'REAR' and 'THIGHS' are always shown to be maxed out by default, yet they appear as the minimum size on the player.
If you go to lower those sliders, they will magically begin to work as intended.
4.) If you go to change the 'CALVES' slider at all, they will change from whatever size they are (always inconsistent with what is actually shown on the player as well) and begin to represent the slider as intended.
5.) FLAK JACKETS and BACK PLATES BOTH do not show up while in-game. They ONLY show up on players during CUTSCENES and in-between plays. They do show up when viewing an instant replay from the pause menu, however, when the MESH graphic setting is set to LOW or MEDIUM, the Flak Jackets and Back Plates will disappear upon zooming out at a far enough distance from the player. With MESH quality set to HIGH or above, they will stay on the player no matter the distance, ONLY in instant replay, never in-game.
6.) The physique bugs specifically have been consistent throughout every single Madden within the past decade. No game has had ALL physique options working as intended across the board. Some of these were not even present within THIS specific installment UNTIL the most recent patch. How is this possible? Play testers must be ignoring these due to time constraints, but isn't that was patches are for? Customizing the physique of a player is a BASE function of a video game, let alone a sports game.
7.) The flak jacket and back plates bug only started occurring after the latest patch, or possibly sometime soon before or after. It was not present during launch.
EA EMPLOYEES,
Again, these are core functions of the game and the player experience. If these problems will not be fixed, at least be transparent and let the community know you will not be addressing these issues. I do not understand the calculated act of ignoring these problems.- Lil-Santana42 years agoNew Traveler
And yet still no update for this issue. I’m about ready to ask for a refund for this broken game!

It seems like the personnel at EA doesn’t even look at these post. They only pay attention if you’re paying extra for MUT. Which is unacceptable and unprofessional.

EA still hasn’t said anything about this bug that’s been going on since August.
