Everything I’m reading says if you’re on PC to lock the FPS at 120. I did this and it didn’t help me.
I have a 120hz oled it will be choppy at 120 locked and if you drop it to 30 cutscene 60 locked (default) with everything maxed and ray tracing on 30/60 is much smoother…what’s point in running 120 if you can’t hold 120 cause that’s where the chop comes from when the frames dip

This is absolutely ridiculous if this is an engine problem and can’t be fixed. HOW CAN A DEVELOPING COMPANY RELEASE A GAME IN THIS CONDITION???

Again, gotta understand how a pc works…when gaming you want the frametimes low and fps to not move…there is no difference to the game running at 160 fps but being choppy because of the dips in frametime and fps compared to holding 60fps and a frametime of say 12ms without them moving…actually the later of the two scenarios will always be more pleasing to the eyes. Your not losing anything, also my 5900x is only at about 12% used on average and about 20 max so that’s not something affecting everyone.

1. Why isn’t EA addressing this?
2. Can it be fixed?
3. When will it be fixed?
This should be top priority.

Is EA really not going to address this issue? If you can’t fix it, everyone should get a refund.

I'm not sure if you play online but I have a 3080 with a R9 5900X and I can get 120 FPS Locked without any FPS drops, but it is much more choppy it makes no sense why it would do that if I am able to get a stable FPS and yes I agree 60 Fps locked does make it much more smooth but it is close to unplayable when it comes to online play and my internet isn't the problem, nor should my computer be, and I've tried almost all graphics settings and it seems to not fix the problem, I'm hoping EA can make a patch to fix this but I think your alone when it comes to being stable and playable.
