Disappointing to hear that its not working for others.When it does run well, it's looking very promising. Way less bugs at this stage than last year.

I had all of my graphics set to low and hair turned off and the fps was floating between 30-50. This even with fps locked at 120. 

My PC specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G

16gb RAM DDR4

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060

Please fix this EA!

I just spent 3 hours trying to fix my issues and nothing worked. I’m at the point of giving up. I’ve given Madden chance after chance and they’ve always let me down. It is an absolute embarrassment that they do not even acknowledge that there is an issue. Instead, they just have a bot ask for our PC specs only to never respond with any solutions.

THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE ON PC! is that understood?

You can't blame everyone's PCs, it's everywhere. The CPU usage goes to 85%, it heats up like crazy, the game is laggy and can't be played.

You need to fix it and fix it now!

I tried playing last night. I have an Intel 12500 CPU, RTX 3070, 32 GB DDR5 memory, Gen4 SSD. On Madden 23 I get 4k 144 fps on Ultra settings no problem and gameplay is perfect. This one I tried all sorts of changes to lowering settings, max FPS was 80 but 1% lows are very low causing it to be very choppy. I thought maybe it was a ray tracing problem but turning that off didnt help. I will try turning advanced hair off as suggested but I dont want to use up my 10 hours EA play free trial troubleshooting the game. Will just need to wait until they fix it. 

I reached out this morning and received a reply from Clint within few minutes. This makes me feel a little better.

I also tried dropping resolution down to 1440p. That didnt help at all. Literally no improvement. 

Also suggestion for the developers - please make changes to graphics options available during a game so that people can make tweaks as they are playing instead of having to exit out of the current game into the main menu just to try one different setting and then restarting a game only to find the tweak they made didnt help. FIFA 23 has this ability to tweak graphics on the fly; no reason that Madden shouldn't have it too.

Why is this thread showing as resolved? It's very clearly not fixed yet. 

That's crazy. We need it fixed right now.

Surely the fix cannot be that hard. 99% of EA games are running on this same engine. Why is this game's hardware utilization so bad?

that is literally not how bottlenecking works you dont OC something that is being held by by trying to give more performance to whats being held back.

You guys put out a blog post addressing the issues with pre-order content on Playstation, but did not address the PC issues at all? We've been completely in the dark with no update at all even suggesting that you guys are addressing it. When is this going to be fixed? All of us spent $100 to play this game early and we can't play it. (And these same issues existed during the beta build of the game.)

I tested on my 3070 using medium settings at 60 fps and that was better; 1% lows were in high 40s. I have another computer with an AMD 6700XT that also is capable of running Madden 23 ultra settings 4k at 120 Hz. When I set that one to run at medium settings on Madden 24 with max frame rate of 60 fps, it was better. The players movements still look choppy compared to madden 23. Maybe the drivers from Nvidia and AMD need to be optimized by them for Madden 24? The listed hardware requirements have definitely bumped up between the two games, but it's not a huge difference, and it's disappointing not to be able to find any settings that will work for 120 fps on very new solid hardware that I have. I'd be curious if someone with a 3090 or 4090 is able to get this game to run at 120 fps with medium, high or ultra settings. 

Does anyone have any new news or ideas about the problem?

I just upgraded my graphics card so I’m hoping that the problems I was having don’t come back :-s

Also, post your DX Diag if you are having trouble. Hammering the community managers but giving them no data isn’t going to solve much.
