The Passing Tutorial seems to be mandatory

The Passing Tutorial seems to be mandatory. I struggled through it for hours and when I finally got the green checkmark that said PASSED, it took me back to the very same selection of tutorials. I don't know whether this is a bug, or I'm doing something wrong. I want to play the game, not the tutorials. Any help?
