Sigh. After 30 minutes of TRYING to get your bug report forms in the bug report forums to work (those are bugged, irony alert). I'm sick of typing so here goes one last attempt.Gold low 70s OVR Kicker Tristan Vizcaino is (almost certainly) bugged -- after buying card and putting him in lineup, went to Solo Battles and on the very first kickoff (and 100% of all kickoffs afterwards) he the kick meter mechanic behaves very oddly and 100% of all kicks go out of bounds.100% of all PATs (didn't try FGs but I'm assuming those don't work either) have the same odd behavior on kick meter, and 100% of all PATs go wide left/right.Two caveats: I know kicking can work on this card because I got tired of giving opponent ball on 40 yard line, so I hit LEFT bumper and went squib kick, the kicking mechanic worked okay... Kicking works with other card in lineup, went back to the pitiful silver card you provided to players, and in a different game, his kicking meter worked correctly and he got hit pitiful little short kicks down to the 10 yard line, sad, but preferable to the out of bounds, ball on 40 kicks from Tristan card.Fix this card (and fix your bug report forums) please...

@Willysee999 I now have another kick taker and the problem has totally disappeared. You're right it was the card of this player who was totally buggy

@Willysee999 Since this forum allowed me to post and the bug report forum wouldn't, I'll give the info you required (but wouldn't allow me to post in bug reports)...

was in Madden Ultimate Team, was in Solo Battles (they only offered "Solo challenges" as an op tion, but I was in Solo Battles).

Way to recreate? Put Tristan in your lineup, go to Solo Battle, try a kick off or a field goal or a PAT.

Update: August 17th
This is still bugged. I tried plugging the silver punter into the place kicker position to see if he would work as a stop gap and the answer was a resounding NO. Yesterday, the punter was working for kicking off (which I didn't check today) and my theory was maybe he would work for PAT and FG kicks, but after manufacturing a situation where I needed a FG in a Headliners Challenge, the kick meter was broken on the silver punter.
This need fixing, especially if you guys start assigning Field Goals as a challenge goal or daily challenge.. I lucked out and got the 5 FGs in the Team Captains Field Pass area before the bug reared it's ugly head.

We can pass the issue of Tristan on to the team. For the issue with creating a bug report, where you getting an error, or what was happening when trying to submit?

@EA_Illium Re: Bug Reporting -- I'd go through the form and drop down the various entries, type in a detailed description about the kicking bug and when I got to the end (with all * fields filled out) and hit submit, the buttons went away and I waited, and waited, and waited... It never posted to the forum. If I went up and altered the paragraph it would bring the buttons back and I'd try to submit again, same problem.

I had this same issue with 70/71 OVR K Elliott Fry. Meter is bugged and every kick goes sideways no matter what. Using the base kicker that I started with is the only way to get consistent kicking, but his leg is super weak.

I made the mistake of quick selling the OG silver kicker for training points when I bought the Tristan Gold. The game defaulted to the OG silver punter as kick off specialist, so I could plug him back in.

The work around I found for any kicker on kick offs -- squib kick (X-Box use left bumper until Squib is highlighted). You still get the broken kick meter, but just hit the A when it wobbles through it's broken little path and any kicker will lob-kick the ball down the middle. It gets returned to the 20-25 yard line, but that's better than penalty at the 40.

I haven't found any work arounds for PAT/FG so I just go for 2 points on all TDs and I'm holding my breath on whether EA in there infinite wisdom assigns a challenge or daily stat for FGs. There was a 5 FG stat meta under the Team Captain Field Pass, but I got that done before the I got the new, broken kicker.

So glad I didn't quicksell mine, lol. Yea I was doing the squib kickoffs and always going for 2 as well until I found out the kicker I bought was broken. Good to know that at least some of the other kickers are bugged too, that way I don't go out and try to buy another one until they fix it.

Another bug adjacent update...

Bug adjacent update Friday 8/18...

The Good News: they added Competitive Field Pass into the game, daily's and weekly's to strive for....

The Bad News: One of Weekly Competitive (I think it's weekly) objectives was (you guessed it) Kick 10 Field Goals, so if they don't fix this bug quick, that will cost everyone a nice handful of Competitive points. There's a Kick 30 Field Goals in the Competitive -> Milestones area, I'm hoping that these will stay active for longer than a week, particularly since a lot of people didn't get Competitive until Friday.

My kick meter is also messed up been like this for 3 days now…hoping for a fix soon….can’t really do much when you can’t even do a proper kickoff to start a game.
